StarDusted Bengals

About Us

My love for Bengals started, long before I got into breeding them. Five years ago, while browsing the web, I found a picture of the amazing IW RW SGC Bridlewood License to Thrill. To see the markings and the structure of such a fabulous Bengal, I was hooked immediately! I knew I wanted one of those cats! After two years of researching and studying of genetics, I finally decided to purchase one as a breeder. At that time, Bridlewood had no kittens available, which started me on a search that led me to that very special cat that would be the foundation of my program. That first cat was my precious Pocketleopards TheRave of Stardusted, whom we call Raven, from Terra of Pocketleopards. She was start of my love of charcoal Bengals. Before her, I had never seen a charcoal that late a generation (F7) before and was in awe of how wild she looked, especially with her big, beautiful copper eyes! I contacted Terra immediately, as I would be crushed if I let the opportunity to let such a great cat pass me by. She is one of the very best breeders I have worked with and also my breeding mentor, I am very grateful to have had her help and advice these past few years. When Raven came home needless to say I was elated!

Soon after Raven, came a sweet brown rosetted girl I named Baako Summer Rain of Stardusted. Next I purchased my first stud, a handsome seal sepia snow marble male who I named Avalance of Stardusted, who is now retired. The next two I bought were not planned, originally I intended only to get two girls and a boy, but when I saw the next two cats I could not not buy them for my program. First of them was my first show cat, a gorgeous seal sepia snow marble girl I named Chalkmountain Ambernpurrls of Stardusted, now retired, who made Champion. Her breeder was my show mentor and I am very thankful for the help she gave me starting out. Last, but certainly not least, came Crestwood Sacred Fire of Stardusted, an excellent quality brown marble male out of great lines.

Since then I've had many ups and downs, winning and loosing in cat shows, loosing some excellent cats and kittens to accidents or illness, and having to let go of others that I had become attached to due to a need to reduce. There have been some very hard times when I seriously considered quitting, but this is one of the most enjoyable and rewarding things I've ever done and while there may be things that I'd change if I could go back, I'll never regret starting. Now I only have two Bengals, of course my Raven and a new boy that I received from my good friend Christina of Dragondust Bengals, who I have very high hopes for.
